its expensive but i use a boost with a cheetah board and ST drive cone without any springs and it solved most of my problems and I play 5-6 times per week every week, jams will happen time to time, reballs are smaller diameter .662? which leads to a variety of issues - drive cone stack irregularties - something that the halo was not engineered for. Fresh batteries are the best - or use the BOOST it seems to help especially with the cheetah board.

I have a buddy that has a cheaper lo tech fix - pbnation name ryantheeskimo has a better bead anti jam mod pm him for details
