Reball ISSUES
Anyone have problems with Halos jamming while using reballs? I'm having a problem with the halos compressing the reballs and getting the halo jammed.
Should I be lubing the reballs?
Or are they bad reballs that I have?

its not really a battery issue, its a design flaw, there is no way to keep every halo from jamming, what helps is the elongated spring available from shocktech, but the best loader to use with reball is an EvlutionII or Vlocity.

make sure you have fresh batteries, and try either moving the beads back or taking them out completely(i forget which one helped)

Hey Guys,
At my field we have found that if the cone spring isn't new or nearly new, it doesn't feed the reball as tight as it should. What we do is double wind the spring, this helps immensely, but is way too much force for paint. So the down side is that when you want to shoot paint, you have to "unwind" the spring. Not a big hassle, but still it is a hassle. Hope this helps you out!

Doesn't this increase the chance of breaking that tab that catches the spring? That's the part I hear about everybody breaking on their halos.

You would think it would, but we haven't had that happen as of yet!

We also sell a lot of critical and shocktech drive cones. But we still have a lot of players shooting stock Halo B's. We also are a distributor and home field for Boost Custom Paintball. He specializes in rechargeable battery upgrades for all hoppers. These help out quite a bit too!

ok you dont need a new cone or a new board, the fix seems to be the longer shocktech anti jam spring. I havent ordered any yet, so i completely took out my anti jam spring, and i rarely have any jams.

This thread has many conflicting ideas. It sounds like there is not a single good fix for this issue. I have a halo with a delrin cone, Bone battery pack, and have removed the spring and I still can't get the reballs to feed (they get squished between the cone and the cup wall. So, other that "lubing" the reballs, I've tried most of the above ides, but to no avail. My Eggy will feed, but very slowly...about 2-4 per second since the reballs keep get squished between the impeller blades and the wall of the "catch cup".
Any other ideas?

There's a bead mod in the hopper forum, just replace the stock beads with bigger nylon ones from Lowe's or any store. Or you could try raising the cone by placing a washer underneath the cone. My halo works best without any of these mods. Both mods are in the same thread btw.

Use a G2 Pilot pen's spring... It's what I did.
