ST:A-What did you get for Xmas(car related)

C'mon, on know some of you guys got tools or parts for christmas, or chanuka, Art.

I got myself a couple new toys, my parents got me the plenum and intake manifold, and my brother bought me the creeper.

And, as a present to myself, I now have more then enough cash to get my block machined, or get a little present for inside my block

werewolves, where did you get those rotors?

My sister bought me these halogen fog lights. They are from wal-mart and I will probably not put them on my car.

I get my sisters car so I have something to work on at school. Im leasing a car now so I cant do anything to it. I only get the car because its not worth much and my sister is getting lawsuit money next week which she is using for a new car.

Was over at my grandma's house last night looking for tools in the basement, found some really old school tools that I will have to clean up and take pictures of. Found a spark plug gapper, timing light, old old impact wrenches that I didnt take but I may go back and get them as there is 2 of each and theres about 5 different ones. Also got a vaccum pressure tester and a compression tester.

Only other car related thing I got was a Corvette hoodie, its pretty nice.

All I got car related was the complete set-up for Z06 style screens foglight screens, brake duct screens, rear screens, and the side screens. Didn't ask for much for car stuff b/c I don't have a Corvette sitting in the driveway yet... but my little lady suprised me with the screens.

Merry Christmas and congrats everyone! Enjoy the rest of your time off!

Yeah im positive they are Brembo. I painted them myself so that they would lok a little better with aftermarket rims as well as to prevent rust on the drum part of the rear brakes. Painted the fronts just for ****s and giggles. And Brembo brake KITS retail for over a grand. A set of ONLY brembo rotors goes from 200-300 depending on where you bought them. I got lucky and found a guy on ebay that bought them for his car, then wrecked the car before he ever put them on. His loss is my gain.

Brembos come painted... I thought the paint looked ****ty... but figure it was just a poor qaulity pic. Didn't want to ruin some ones excitment... but since its been said...

Depending on the kit Brembos can be as much at 6k and 7k... but 4 rotors like that I'm pretty sure is in the 1200 to 1400 range. Just depends where you go really.
