I just got my 10" DYE Boomstick with spyder/pirahna threads and when i screw it in there is like 1/4 of an inch space that doesnt screw in. It doesnt wiggle around but i can see a lil light commin threw when i look down towards the back of it. Is this right?

No its not

No the back part of the threads are too long. If you try to play with it like that it will bust balls like a mad man!!!! take it to a local pro shop and see what they can do about it. Dont try and saw it off your self. later josh

NO ITS NOT THATS IT TOO LONG...ITS TOO SHORT. The stock JT Barrel thread has 5 thread lines. Spyder threads have 3 or 4 cant tell. I havent seen an aftermarket barrel on a JT before if some1 could show me one or tell me if you have one that would be a big help.

the "sleeve" part of the barrel is longer then the JTs barrel, as long as the there is no gap inside the barrel, where it connects to the gun, it should be fine.

screw in the barrel, take out the bolt and look down the gun, if you see a gap where the barrel should be touching the inside of the gun, if not you will break alot of balls.

i figured this one out $110 later after i went and bought my aa its actually the milling of the threads in the body of the marker the threads are too raw for the depth of the dye threads. the funny part is i called them both and got to listen to them blame it on each other ... anyway if you have the threads in the gun cleaned up the boomstick goes right in ... sorry to show up late but hope it helps
