Thanks, I'm glad you think so. The volunteers put their heart and soul into this league.

i was at indy sportz 3man tourny on sat sept 14 and was really impressed w/the organization. the tourny went smooth and fast.
the sportsmanship of the players was top notch. i seen players helping out other teams. i live in dayton ohio and hardly ever see that here.

Thanks Scott. The ICC is a purely volunteer ran organization. Not a single person in the Executive Committee makes any money by doing what they do for Indiana Paintball. As a matter of fact they spend a lot of money for travel and accommodations out of their own pockets. They have made such advancements in organization that the PSP and other series have expressed interest in how they do it.
BTW how's the Viking doing?

The problem with that Chris is the matter of compensation. What do the refs get out of reffing?? A team reffs and it gets 2nd place points in the league standings. If the same crew reffed all events that would have to be a $$$ payout. Where does the money come from?? The great thing about the ICC series is the low cost. How many events run $150 entry and only $52 for a case of top grade paint??If you pay a reffing crew you would have to jack the entry about a hundred bucks per team and I think that would keep a lot of teams from playing (we are a bunch of cheap b@$tards here in Indiana!! )

I think a certified crew would be great fdor all events, but it wont happen any time soon ( I dont think it will).

look at it this way certified refs make about 50 bucks a day u need about 7 or 6 refs for each 5 man field. icc usually run 3 fields so u nedd 20 reffs. that is 1000 dollars. each icc has about 50 teams at 150. thats 7500 dollars so u raise team entry to 175 and u have more than enough to pay for c4 certifiee refs

with the changes in the field criteria coming up there will have to be a minimum of 4 fields per event and you may see some events with 5 or 6 fields to accomadate more teams. Plus you must think about score runners and chrony judges. It takes about 8 people per field to make it work well.
