If you're going to fly in to Philly, Newark or Laguardia, you could try flying into Albany instead. I know Southwest has some good deals out of Orlando to Albany.

There's also Lehigh Valley International Airport in the Allentown Area of Pa. It's about 1-1/2hrs from the field and it's all highway.

Lodging is close by, about 15-20 min max.!

There is food and everything real close to the Holiday Inn. Definetly would be my first choice.

if youi guys are driving take the northern route across 80 to 90 to 17/86 near Erie 17/86 to Binghampton south on 81
Much quicker than 80 across - I used to make the trip 2-3 times a month and also less hills, little traffic, less cops

Just a FYI

Would you like me to relay the print quality version to you through Dawn?

The one online, while much larger than the avatar version still isn't large enough to print well.

Online Version

I know that holiday inn is up by the flying j and that the best food is down at the penn-can truckstop(waitresses are hott too)
but what is the closet inn/motel to the fields and the same for resturant
i drive truck(i know about the interstate features) and the family and i are planing a mid-winter trip to scope out the area as we are planning attending this event,
BUT,
the wife, who's an animal when playing PB, insists in a nice cozy wazrm dry room for the nights we are there
so guys, we are also trying to get a decent sized group from the utica ny area to attend

hope to see you all there

I would say the Colonial Brick for a hotel or the Blue Ridge. The brick is right in Hallstead within walking distance of 2 resteraunts. The Blue Ridge is in New Milford and next to the Green Gables but I don't think they do breakfast. Both hotels contact info and numbers are on the EMR website

The Holiday Inn and the Colonial Brick are about the same distance from the field. The Brick is smaller, but nice. Some Crew usually stay there on New Years after Blue's New Year's Eve Party. It is right off of 81, it has a few restaurants / eateries, a liquor and beer stores, food store, etc.., all within walking distance, and the room rate is great.

The Holiday Inn is fairy new, and I have not stayed there, but it looks nice and is right by the J and just off 81 as well.

I would choose either of those.
