automatic or manual trans. A nice cam/intake combo would be nice. new set of gears if the ones he already has are to high, simple gear change can make it feel like a different car.

what kind of carb?...what kind of intake...there is alot of them....what kind of distributer?

3.73s are a good all around gear even if he is auto...just not a highway cruising gear if the car is a th350 or 400

how is the interior...they make restoration parts for these cars...$700 could make it alot nicer if its crappy...

you could pick up a covan classics autometer guage cluster

actually....the BEST thing he could do is go thru the suspensin...new subframe bushings, new sterring components, better sway bars, shocks, and new leaf springs

AND SUBFRAME CONNECTORS! <---very important

I've got air shocks in the back, and the ones in the front aren't stock, though I can't remember what they are. I have an Edelbrock intake manifold and carburetor. Then ceramic headers and flowmaster exhaust. I'm not sure if they upgraded the cams when they replaced the engine. It now has a Jasper Class II 350ci 300hp engine. The interior is in pretty good condition, so I'm not too worried about it atm. It's a 4 speed wth the stock transmission. I'm probably forgetting something in there. Hope that's enough to help you picture it better.
Thanks

He has an intake already. Is it a cold air?

Maybe some new cams and valves... new injectors...

no injectors on a carbed engine

if i was you i'd get some kyb shocks for the car...good bang for your buck shocks...then i would do polyurethane subframe bushings and subframe connectors...you'll have money left so i'd suggest replacing the leaf springs with new ones...the stockers gotta be worn badly

you must have a 4 speed saginaw?...you'd have to look at the case to tell the difference ...you can get the hurst bushings to make the car shift gears better...

these mods are fairly cheap and would make the car 10 times better to drive

Thanks for all the suggestions. I'm going to replace the body bushings for sure, but not positive about anything else yet.
