Just click the url...you need realmedia. Grand and his brother put together this video to see what kind of stress a Lense could take from point black range and a paintball marker shooting over the limit.

Size is 11meg so it might be a little slow for people on Dialup, but definitely worth watching.

wow, those lenses can go through alot. they were blasting on the trigger, from close range, until the whole mask was covered in globs of yellow paint. with close inspections, they found no signs of cracks, or problems! very cool.

goggle video

Just to be clear it wasnt my borther... It was a friend of mine. The lens had tiny chips in it but no major cracks, I definately am not going to use it ever again though. Its just not worth the risk.

Thats the link to the article that I originally wrote up after the test. Theres some good close up pictures of the lens. The link to download the movie from that page is no longer valid. Please ignore the crappy webdesign, I havent updated the page in way too long.

Unhappy

I have just done a similiar test like this on a Scott Hot Shot...well i had used the goggles about 4 times and just got new ones cause i needed goggles to match my gun so with my new gun chronoed at 250 i unloaded a total of 480 paintballs about 15 feet away on 6 round burst with my Bushmaster... after about 450 the lens were completely shattered and destroyed pretty much!!!!! I suggest going with JT or another company...I will try to get pics up soon!
