Do you still have your stock valves pump? It may be that one of your makers actually used a longer valvepin and different valve spring. It could also be that the valve was moved forward to lower dwell.

This has got to be the nicest bush i have ever seen. And I skipped the PDS on this one since I wanted the bushy to look super clean. it turned out nice! Now if only we could get a good holst so i could put up all the raw body files for you all to tinker with.

Here's a question for you BMX4LIFE, how did you fix all the faulty surfaces and gaps when you do import diagnostics?

When you open the IGS file with Solidworks 2006, it does an import. Then it asks if you would like to check for faults and gaps. If you say yes then it goes through and checks. It comes up with quite a few faults and gaps. I managed to erase the sight rail off the back of the marker which seemed to be causing most of the problems.

On another note: Stock Eye Tab for B2K4 w/PDS (I also have a .dwg for it)

I am having troubles adding extruded cuts to the 3D model of the stock valve I am doing. I need to add the recess hole to screw the vavle in and the air inlet for the valve. BMX4LIFE, any help?

For a valve, in most cases, is mush easier to make with a revolve rather than a bunch of extrudes and extrude cuts. Can you show me a better picture of what you have and what you want it to do?

ps you can also creat your own planes so that you can have them on the outside of that valve than draw on that plane and the extrude cut into that valve, I thinks thats what you want to know...

Yeah I am having a bit of difficulty. This is quite a bit different than using AutoCAD in a 2D perspective. I did manage to get the hole extruded. I have to get the inlet hole in there now and then I will do up the valve stem. I guess I will have to continue with the tutorials. I am almost done them all. Still kinda clumsy at this though.

Perhaps I should make some video tutorials for you all on solid works on how to use the raw body and how to make your own milling on it.

That would be great. I got this done tonight. It's a 3 piece valve stem assembly for the stock valve w/ *brass* cupseal.

I am thinking if we wanted to model a complete bushy that it would take 50 megs in total (That's in solidworks part and assembly files).

I sent you a PM about that around a week ago. I don't mind paying you some $$ for it either.

BMX4LIFE, what are you using to make your measurements?

I am using a Jet Handtools 310131 caliper.
