Leaking Trinity... help

After playing today, I have a leak in my trinity. The air seems to be coming out of the knob. The more I turn the knob in the louder the leak becomes..

Anyone tell me how I can fix it before tomorrow?

thanks,

puzdurk

take the 4 setscrews out. pull the trinity apart. take off knob and spring. use an allen key or something that will fit to push from the front of the trinity the piece inside of it. this sleeve/spacer has an oring on it that is causing your leak. replace it. leak fixed. good luck.

Ed is right. Its called the plunger though

Change it, you're good to go. Make sure you grease the plunger when you put it back in though, to save the orings from those dreaded threads.

dave, if you get a chance sometimes, would you mind posting an assembly picture? the one of the matrix guts has helped many people. from my brief experiance tearing down a trinity, i can tell you that its extremely hard to get back together. took me like 20 minutes on the phone with greg. anyway, that'd make a nice add on to the matrix FAQ thread.

It takes an 010 oring.
