aka 2 liter cleaning
How do you gt this thign to come apart - I have tried a strap wrench to no avail. anyone know of any videos of someone taking apart a 2 liter reg?

it's not supposed to come apart in the middle, but if you unscrew the bottom seat all the way it will come off

if its not supposed to come appart, how do you get the internals out (ie: if you wanted to disassemble it for anodizing)??

Yeah i'm confused to. It appears to me that there is more than just the mail piston that needs cleaned/lubed?

using a 5/32 allen, unscrew the adjuster knob. When it comes off, remove the spring and piston. That is it. The main body of newer 2-liters is permanently joined

does that go for old 2 liters too? i think mines the old one. it gets fatter in the middle, not like some of the pictures ive seen where its one size all the way thru. and i have this weird adjusting thing right under where u screw it in the reg asa. what is that and what is that used for?

the adjuster thingy is so that you can position your reg to where you want it ei.so that the macro fitting won't be sticking way out on the side. it is kinda of like a buffer thing i guess you could say

There Extreme Lube, I am sure any lube that is not Dow55 will be fin though.
