How hard would it be to find a Super Nova body?

Just curious. A friend may be selling his but I want a center feed one. Any idea where I can get one? His is currently hopper right

That really, really, really sucks.

Can a machine shop maybe take the hopper right body, and make a copy only center feed?

Ehh...no, not really. They could probably make it powerfeed, but you can't really convert a sidefeed to centerfeed. It involves chopping the feedneck + that area off...leaving a gaping hole, and the only way to patch it is weld something over it, then the drilling and tapping of a centerfeed through the body and the welded spot would be horrendous.

Definitely a weekend warrior project

You would not only need a new body but a new breach (or mod the old one). Easier to sell the old Nova and find a centerfeed.
