Snowboard help
Hey i'm getting back into snowboarding this year and i have found a website with good prices on bundles(board, boots, bindings) and have been looking around and a question I have is how does Lamar compare to Palmer, which one is better. The Palmer is like $50 more.
Thanks,
Wes

Palmer hands down. Do not go with lamar. Lamar is a decent beginner board, if you're beginning, but the Palmer is way better.

a good size is more dependent on your weight.
but for an average size 5 ft 7 in male i would say anywhere from 150cm-156 give or take about 3 cm

hard to tell size of board with just hight. depends on what you ride, and your weight also. personaly i wouldnt go with palmer or lamar. when i was 5'7'' i had a 143 and that was just barely above my chin.

Depends on the kind of riding you're doing. General rule is height, but its more based on your weight and height. If you're going strictly by height, park is shorter (closer to your chest) and free ride would be more towards your nose and sort. I would say though you would want something in the area of 153 . 154 , just so that you can grow into it. Im 5'10, weight 165 and ride a 151, but all i do is park too..

Medium is like 7-11 I believe, and I would go with a 150-160 cm board.

Get your board from around your neck to your nose. The smaller it is the easier it will be for you to spin and ****, but if you're just getting back into it i'd get something around your mouth for better control.
