Big Games in Ontario?

Hey guys, haven't played paintball since last year November when I was at Adrenaline for Global Warfare game! Had an awesome time! But due to interests changing I sold everything .... Now lately I have been getting the itch to play again.. But really I don't like paying $80+ for a case of paint and then field fee etc....

So for it to be worth it I want to know of a couple big games a year that are cheap or BYOP. I shoot ALOT of paint.. like 3 cases at GW, but I got the paint for dirt cheap so that helps alot..

So does anyone know of any games in Ontario, I am in the Niagara region and would drive to most places like Windsor, Sarnia, Wasaga, etc (3-4 hours away).

So 2 stipulations.. looking for BYOP mostly unless there are super cheap cases.. also it MUST be on a saturday (getting harder to find).

I don't expect someone to make a massive list.. but maybe reference me to a place to find this information or speak from personal experience?

Thank you very much!

annnnnnnnnnnnd some pictures of me at Global Warfare last november (best time EVER and my first big game!!) (I'm in the blue rocking the GoPro)

EDIT: Thanks to Visual Echoes Photography

Paint prices in Ontario and the rest of Canada are usually $80+

Every event I have been to this year, paint has been $80 a case and the event price is often a bit cheaper than normal days.

I have not yet heard of a big game that has ever been BYOP here in Ontario. Big games are usually held as big money makers for the field.

PRZ in Picton has some pretty sweet games, and they often have BYOP days...but not mixed.

Plenty of other big games around the province but all charge at least $80/case and are not BYOP.

Yeah I'm in agreement with this ^ guy. Never heard of BYOP at a big game or anything less than $80/case.

interesting.... then you both have never heard of Global Warfare big games at Adrenaline Paintball in Melbourne Ontario.. they have 3 a year and they are BYOP

I was just hoping there were more out there so i didnt have to get a pump... Dont know how people can afford 2-3 cases of paint at an event when cases are 80 bucks or more

Cant say I have. But even if I had I probably wouldn't attend. A) to far away from me and B) I personally tend to avoid big BYOP events. Not my thing.

Pump is my thing!

Very few people can affort $160-240 for paint for one game...so very few people shoot that much.

What could you possibly miss with 4-6000 rnds?

Every year on labour day soldiers of fortune paintball in mount hope has the labour day game. It's byop and I have gone for the last three years and there is usually at least 100-150 people that show up. It is $35 to pre register and $45 at the door and like I said its byop or they usually sell cases for $40 that day. Great day of ballin and won't break the bank

Yah pump is what I'm starting to lean on.. can't decide.. i'm just going to be getting back into paintball after a 1 year break, roughly 3 years ago i played stock class paintball in the woods when i owned a phantom and i didnt mind it. This time open class is what I am leaning towards, just whenever i watch my youtube videos of me playing semi i feel like i'd miss it too much hah dont know if i can make that transition..

was thinking azodin kaos pump.. but ansgear doesnt carry it anymore

any website in canada that carries it? I cant find one..

I'm in Brantford, Ontario and I believe Crazy Bill's has quite a few BYOP events. He has one in April I think, some scenario based on Bowzer or Mario.. something silly lol

prz has a event in April I believe its the 11,12,13 and it is a 100 bucks for entry and a case. for a medium grade case its 65 a case for higher grade its 75 a case.

CampX has a big event called Firestorm that is byop. I bought four cases from Badlands Pickering for $30 a case for the two days. Was a good weekend. I think the entrance fee was $75 for both days if you paid in advance.

This site usually lists most of the Ontario big game/scenarios:

Ones of note (IMO):

Quote:
PRZ Asylum (whichever event is the biggest......I can never figure that out so I've never gone
Hopefully, someone like Stilgar can tell us which one is usually the biggest.

I've gone to all of them. Highly recommended.

This. Will. Be. Bananas.
If their past scenarios are any indication, you don't want to miss this one. They usually CAP it at around 600 players to ensure a premium experience. They take scenario paintball seriously so you can have serious fun. I'm stoked for it (if you can't tell ).

Eh? The biggest Asylum game? I have no idea, As a series they keep growing though. The boys had a lot of fun at the season opener, 600-700 players?

The season finally always draws a big crowd.

May 30-31 is the next one. It is also BYOP...

I much prefer PRZ during the limited ammo games. It doesn't get as stupid.

Wow! I had no idea they had gotten that big! Maybe I'll have to take Dukie up on his carpool offer. Do they say upfront which ones are limited ammo? I presume there's a larger pump presence at rhose ones.

The magfed games are the limited ammo games. Usually they allow pumps if you ask nicely.

I think there was about 300-350 in attendance for op guardian last month and op honey badger last year had somewhere near the same.
