Xcel vs. Dye pads...

I was going to get the Dye kneepads but they were out of my size, and someone suggested that I get the Xcel ones because they're almost identical to the Dye's.

Has anyone tried them and how do they compare to the Dye's?

Thanks. I don't understand, though: Is Xcel part of Dye, or are they a partner company, or what?

Xcel is like DYE's bargain company or something...slightly lower priced...

like big ball instead of premium...or something

Xcels are ALMOST exactly the same as Dyes. My bro has the Xcels and I got the Dyes. I actually do find the Dyes slightly more comfortorable just because they are a little bit thicker. But either one works fine and cost about the same amount.
