If those weights are correct, its 12 oz less than a dm4, and if its the same as an ego or alittle lighter its gona weigh in at the same as a dark timmy, or one of the other 04 timmies, just something to judge by.

Well ..... no one knows except Dye on how this thing performs yet ..... and whether it will be better than a DM4/5/C/Proto ..... so until then no one has any basis on how the DM6 will perform .....

Im not sure about my math, so someone double check it.

From what we know about the DM6 and the PM6, you can look at the chart on the TMC's website and conclude this:

DM6 is 9oz lighter than a DM4
DM6 is 7oz lighter than a DM5
DM6 is 5oz lighter than a PM5
PM6 is 4oz lighter than a PM5
DM6 is 1oz lighter than a PM6

Still wish I knew actual weights!

You mean the dm6 is 4oz lighter than a pm5, and a pm6 is 5oz lighter? Otherwise, that makes no sense.

According to thematrixcenter.....the PM5 is 2oz lighter than the DM5. We now know that the DM6 is 7oz lighter than the DM5. That means the DM6 is 5oz lighter than the PM5.

We now also know from Dye, that the PM6 is 4 oz lighter than the PM5. So I can draw the conclusion that the DM6 is 1oz lighter than the PM6.

I think Diminished29 came up witht he same figure back on the 2nd page.

Once again please check my math!

What is the weight difference compared to a DMC although I like the DMC better....... I sometimes have a hard time shooting cause of the size of a DMC being so small. I cant see how it will be comfortable to shoot this thing it looks TINY......

d*mnit...I should of waited 1 more month before purchasing my Shocktech DM5. I like it. It looks sweet and compact. The new eye concept and buttons are cool. Im afraid my membrane pad will die. It will be cool to make those buttons for the DM5 owners. Sweet gun.

Dark timmies weigh a decent amount more than ego's. The ego is lighter than any timmy, although the abombs and R2's are close.

Unless someone would like to prove me otherwise here are the weights as I've heard or seen them WITHOUT REG AND BARREL.

DM4 - 2.3 lbs
DM5 - 2.1 lbs
DM6 - 1.4 lbs

2005 Proto - 1.9 lbs
2006 Proto - 1.5 lbs

Self-cleaning eyes?
As in, the bolt has an O-ring on the front to "squeege" off the paint if a ball breaks in the breach?

Oh, wait, the DM4, DM5, and Proto also had that...

But other then that, major to Dye. I like the frame, but the grips are a little "meh." Maybe they'll grow on me, like the Proto did.
