Tommy Maddox is TERRIBLE
Did anyone see the Steelers-Jaguars game? Maddox had something like 4 turnovers and 2 in Overtime, one was on the 29 I think(within FG range) and he fumbled and tried to grab it, not fall on it. The other turnover was an itnerception returned for a TD to win the game. He basically lost the game for the Steelers. If he ever wanted to prove he can be a starter again, he totally blew it.

this is what cowher means when he tells maddox he doesnt have to win the game for the stealers, all he has to do is not lose it.

Probably a Cleveland/Cinci/Baltimore fan.
Anyway, yea Maddox really screwed that one up, Jacksonvilles a good time, and when you make that many mistakes against them they will beat you.

it was horrible enough that i can't even defend it! we just have needed him completely out of there a long time ago. i have had this arguement many of times. once you get to a certain level and have topped out doesn't mean we should be loyal to you and still play you, even if it is back up! just cause i use to be a damn good gymnast and can still do it, doesn't mean that i should be competing anymore against younger better talent. if you have that much luv for the game, you try to move on and coach or put you talent to better use. these are my boys but i speak only the truth on this one.

No s**t. The last thing the Steelers need is another Steve DeBerg. Jesus Maddox, hang up the cleats buddy. Go Jets.

Dont sleep on Jax man, they are a good team and are getting better every year.

Don't get me wrong. The Jags are a good team, but I don't think they won that game just because they are as good as they are. In my opinion(even though I bleed black and gold) is that the Steelers won that game but Maddox blew it. Almost any competent defense can make two interceptions when Maddox throws the ball like he does and if Maddox had not have fumbled and tried to pick it up like a noob we would've kicked a field goal and won. Cowher was asked if he thought Maddox had a bad day and he replied,"I think that's pretty obvious". That seems un-Cowher like to me, so even he was pissed by it. As Peter King said "No Ben. No Ward. No win. No kidding."

Maddox without a doubt screwed up, but he hasnt started since 03' and is a bit rusty. I feel bad for him because Im sure he knows he let that team down, and who knows, we could look back at this game come week 17 and say "maybe if they'd beat Jacksonville they'd have a(n) A)home playoff game B) homefield advantage C) a playoff berth period.

Sure he's a bit rusty but as a 2nd string QB you practice for the day that you get to start. If Maddox ever wanted to start again in his Steeler career, he blew it.
