This was running a PMI 68/45 Screw in and my Vaporized Stock Reg w/ 5th Gen springs.
Hell, it doesn't happen often, but it does happen.
Now I should be more consistant though, seeing I'm putting in a Glad, Vapor Bolt, and Vapor Bolt.

I had 5 shots that were 275 or 276. See the setup at http://www.geocities.com/heatbeliever/Defiantpix.html
The only difference was I was using a 14" .684 J&J Two Piece (Full Tilt Barrel) with Inferno Darts. The one pictured is a J&J Stainless.

Sorry, if it's a trade secret, but what generally is done, during vaporizing, to get the regs to be more consistent. Also, can I just send my reg in to be vaporized, leaving the rest of the gun?

When you get your gun vapored, goldie polishes the internals, rebuilds the reg as well as some other stuff. Its like getting a hand built bushy with "custom" shop attention. It explains it on www.paintballtrader.com

the topic is kind of pointless due to the fact that under higher rate of fire you will get a bit of shoot down to make velocities vary more than just slow shots over the chrono. but the best so far over the chrono for me was 283, 283, 285. just the so called 'vaporized' regulator and an aci 68ci bulldog.

i suppose you could send your regs to be vaporized alone, but i don't see why. you can't use your gun w/o your regs, unless you have aftermarket lpr and vert reg(then you'd use those not stock anyways) and then you wouldn't be able to have the rest of the vaporizartion done(trigger job, new led, pollished internals, Quick Disconnect, new screws and the list goes on)

you're crazy man, i never have my gun shooting over 285, if for some reason you get any fluctuation in velocity you could get hot gun penalties, and at 299 the ref's would probly wanna chrono it anyways.
You guys have real consisten guns, the best i can remember was 280, 281, 279.
but then again, i can't afford to play at fields that much (we have a back yard ball circuit of about 6 fields in my town)
<edt> i have a vigilante and 3k 68ci crossfire tank</edt>
