Reason why people need reading skills

He made an auction saying he had the Boardwalk gameboard section, and people didn't read and just assumed it was the piece, and people bid up to 26,000.  
Gave me a chuckle.
EDIT: Since I didn't explain well. What he did is cut the Boardwalk section out of the McD Monopoly game BOARD, and said he had up for auction, the gameboard SECTION, not game piece, people didn't read fully and thought it was the game piece, so they bid crazy amounts, and they got a piece of cut out paper they could get for free and he got like 26,000.00.

wait, he had the thing from the monoply game (the real one) and sold it as the boardwalk from the mcdonalds game?

Never said it did. What he did is cut the board walk thing on the Monopoly gameBOARD, and said it was the monopoly gameboard section, key word is it doesn't say "Game Piece" so it's legal,and people thought it was the real thing.

Why, he stated EXACTLY what it was, If I saw that auction, I wouldn't just bid on it assuming it's the real piece, not to mention there are a bunch of these on Ebay, and knowing it's a rare game piece wouldn't you be a little suspicious?
