Everyone from our class piles up and we all chip in have either a ufc or pride party. But I havent checked the card yet but the email has been sent that the line up sucks so bad we arent going to order this one we are just going to wait for pride.
But as I said I havent seen the line up yet so I am not sure. Give me a minute and I will post it.

When andre and frank finally go at it I will probably bust a nut before the fight even starts. I hope with mir being injured in that wreck that he wont get too out of shape or anything. I have to say I like Mir slightly better but Andre is one of my top heavyweights.
I was shocker Forrest beat Elvis. Elvis isnt really a push over though I think he is starting to edge off past his prime. And the fact that new comers are becoming so good now isnt helping him at all.

Anybody want to give me an idea of what happened in the Elvis Sinosic v. Forrest Griffin fight?
I was MMAing last night for fun with a few friends of mine and I was matched up against this guy, chris, who was very skinny and tall, but he was good on the ground and I am more of a standup guy (background mostly in boxing/kickboxing but I can mostly hold my own on the mat) and after I swung a heavy right hook which Chris ducked I was taken to the floor. He was throwing punches from on top of me (I was on my back, he was on top. Thats called Front mount no?) but I kept my gaurd up and threw some heel kicks to his legs and I was able to grab one of his punches and roll him over. I overpowered/outweighed him by alot so once I got on top he was done for. I through some head punches (we wore head guards because we are fairly new to the sport) but mostly rib punches. He tried to throw a punch at me but it was totally off and I grabbed hold of his arm and put him in an armbar so he tapped. The other fights I was in were just me using my kickboxing style kicks to stop the stand up fighters and being stronger, larger, and heavier than the ground fighters I would stop them when they went for a takedown with a knee of a guillotine hold.
I am still a noobie and trying very hard to get better, but that will take a looong time, lol.
