so i've lost faith in my school.
Recently, in my American Lit class, we've been discussing the concept of freedom in today's society. Well my teachers been at my school for over two decades and was talking to our class today. He said that he sees a kid every few years that holds up the whole "true rebel" stereotype. One kid even went so far last year as to yell: "THE SOUTH WILL RISE AGAIN!!" when the issue of slavery was brought up. Just a small story for the folks here in OSST.

oh, sorry i forgot to mention that i go to a private school. its supposedly one of the nicest in state. too bad the state has the second worst education system in the country. well i was basically trying to express how annoying my school can get. you people get a variety of douches at public school. we have 400 some kids in our HS and i would bet that at least 90% of that fit the redneck stereotype.
If you cared, i live in South Carolina.

you think thats pathetic? theres a girl in my amrican studies class that thinks that being kicked off a space flight to the moon days before launch isnt a big deal and anyone who would be upset is a sissy.
she said this during the movie apollo 13. i asked her how many times she had gone into space or even had the chance to and when she answered none, i told her to stfu because it was obviously a big deal.

What the ****? You live in South Carolina. Are you locked in a closet or just that much of a sissy?
Does a "true rebel stereotype" bother you? I drive a jacked up truck, listen to country, love beer, and have missing teeth. Does that scare you?
"Went as far to say 'The south will rise again'"
Why the hell does that bother you?
I seriously get shocked and appauled when some of you kids post. It's as if your parents have kept you sheltered your whole life. You see things in black and white. You don't know how to accept people/things/places different than you. It's sad really. I also think half your parents didn't read to you because half of you could not create a coherent sentence if you had a gun to your head.
