Is this a Rule?
I was just wondering in tournaments, if there was a rule about how many you can shoot at a person? Like how many shots you are allowed to hit the guy with?
I don't think there is a rule about bonus balls but just want to make sure?

Unless it has been changed there is no rule per say in the NPPL about overshooting, but it's on the refs to decide if bounsballing is with the intention to hurt someone.

I know in xball its illegal to overshoot and if your team does it they get Warning and if they continue to do it, its DQ time. (no not Dairy Queen )

it depends on what the rules are in the series youre playing in. in nppl there's no set number of shots, but in other leagues, like nlpl the accepted number of shots is 3. just ask the refs before you start shooting people like 8 or 9 times.

in the league i play in, Houston Rookie League-HRL, its around 3 or 4, they shot my back man like 16 times, even when he was out after the refs took off his armband, they still were shooting at him, even though the remaining 2 players both were saying game over to each other.
that gave us like 20 points for bonusballing my buddy

eh, bonusballing is a vague term. say a team does a run through, maybe 3 people r shooting one guy, each person shoots him 5 times, 15 times getting shot? say a player get hit, while im posting at him, but when i stop shooting and he leaves his bunker, theres still 5-12 balls in the air. nothing u can do about it

In rec ball it is a needed rule but in most tournament leagues i have played in it is not a rule or if it is it is not enforced. Basically, if you think your good enough to play tournament ball then your good enough to get lit up. With the amount of paint most tourney players are shooting these days, its not uncommon to get hit 10 or 12 times. But that should stop when the arm band is off and the players are out of the line of fire. accidents happen i know but I have seen players get into fist fights because some over zealous moron started shooting a guy on the way back to the dead box.
