Where do you draw the line for being a fan?

At what point does being a sports fan become excessive?

I personally think wearing a football jersey of my fav team, or a random t-shirt or hat is perfectly fine and sufficient.

On the other hand, I have a friend whos a Steelers fan. His room is painted black and yellow, it is FULL of memorabilia. He also wore a steelers jersey, hat, and matching black and yellow shoes to school one day. All he talks about his the NFL and its kind of annoying.

What are your bounderies for sports fans? When do you get annoyed?

Sometimes I want to yell at him and tell him that there is more to life then sports. Like the crazy thing called a "girl" Etc.

well i think there is some limits.

when you begin to lose contact with the outside world and become a hermit because of a sports team that is the limit. or if you kill people based on it.
