I just thought of a great idea for you Tony.

You should make this feature available for the feedback forum. That way, people can be BST Trusted in their feedback thread.

I just did it to the Shocker thread in my sig, if anyone wants to see what it looks like...

*Also, you should list the trusted thread titles in green so that they can be seen from the thread list pages.

i personally dont like the fact that you have to pay for it everytime you put something on these boards.... i for one sell alot on the nation and this would be an added fee that i would not like and would start to amount... yes i realize its not needed to sell things on here but it gives the person that extra trust... eh whatever ive got 100% feedback and a good rep on the nation.... i guess thatll suffice

I don't really see the need for this, I mean, I can just show my Paypal verification seal and that's at least as good.

What's the huge difference?

You can by the Paypal verification seal, as long as it has the link set up properly. I made a tutorial about it in the suggestion box, but nobody seemed interested. To be a Verified member of Paypal, your address has been confirmed. The Paypal verification seal is the same thing, but free. Did you contact Paypal for their permission on the subject?

Your link shows if the person is verified with PayPal. The BST Trust badge shows that as well as the status of the address that the user has submitted during the transaction.

http://www.pbnation.com/ppverify.php?do=explain "Address confirmation is useful because it provides a way for a someone to verify if a member is using a location that is known through PayPal."

Now, as well as the two items that you are shown when the BST Trust badge is displayed, we also record the First/Last name, email and the full address that is provided. This will be useful for the authorities should they need it in the event of a scam.

You cannot get that information through paypal without doing a transaction. There is a big difference between being PayPal Verified and Address Confirmed. Read the page and the links from that page on the first post in this thread.

Is there any possibly way to add this into the supporting member fee? I am not yet a supporting member but am interested. I am a great buyer/seller/trader and would like everyone confident in me. If there was a way to get that tagged on for like one year that would be cool.

The Supporting Member is a one time fee while BST Trust is per thread. Why BST Trust is per thread is explained earlier here.

It should be per thread. The only think I see is that if you have 5 guns for sale in 5 different threads and you buy it once for one of them you can just link to that thread showing you a trusted. Then if the buyer wants to see your info(i think thats how it works) they can just go to that thread and sign up for the trusted thing. Then if the addresses match you would be good to go. Maybe I dont get the entire way this works but I would think that after the first time you do it if you keep the same address and link to the old thread you could still show that you are who you say you are.

Impulse44: if it was a one time fee, people could get their address authorized, and sometime down the like if they moved or their information changed it wouldn't be correct anymore.

that is why you should do a monthly plan or weekly so you have to pay after what ever the rate is

but per thread could get costy, but i understand to sell stuff here is is free (unlike ebay) that is why i donot understand why people are *****ing .......if you were to sell on ebay it could cost you 10 dollars per action.

Kyle- I still think you should extend this into the feedback forum so people can be BST Trusted in their feedback thread.

um I think it is easier to tell someone BEFORE the transaction that you will only deal with them if they are verified through paypal. When you are sending someone money through paypal it will tell you if they are verified before you actually send it. Recieving money well if they arent up to snuff you just shoot the money back to them ( doesnt cost you anything) and you just say hey im not dealing with you....Nice idea but honestly a waste of money

I personally think this is a joke. Users should pay a one time fee for this, that's all. I hold great doubt that this will be successful.
