CP Macro fitting HELP!

I hav a long 2k5 reg, it came with a staight macro line air fitting installed....

Can this be changed? If so, how.............when I took the reg apart I could not see directly where the air fitting screws into the reg and there's not enough sticking out to grab onto and remove the air fitting.

I want to install an angled air fitting so the macro line to goes staight back to my on/off ASA instead of curving downwards and backwards to my on/off ASA....to give it a more streamlined look.
...there is such a thing as a dumb-*** question...
....I tech G22 level aircraft apparatus....

This has been asked several times and I have answered it several time...

You can not just unscrew the streight fitting that is built into the long CP regs and screw in a 90* fitting. You will need an adapter in order to do so. Serach in this forum and you should be able to find the whole answer on how to mod the reg with an adapter in order to use a 90* fitting.
