Old Style Maxflo

Ok so i can get an old stlye 68/45 maxflo in a trade for my torpedo plus a little cash. What i would like to know is how good ar ethe older maxxys. This one has a small leak but im sure i can rebuild it. But he said this tank dosent use a rail the reg just screws directly to the bottom of the gripframe? Anyone have a maxflo like this?? Also he said to take the tank off of the gun you have to take off the bottom regulator and that bleeds off the whole tank? Please any help would be appreciated on this subject. Also the bottle is dated 2002 so im guessing thats the year of the reg. Thanks

nope, maxxy's use rails. and bottles and regs can be switched. and you can take the tnak off without bleeding the whole thing, just turn the switch off, and then take the reg off of the rail
