Guage port on drop

I am buying a new Dead On Pro Style Z drop, and there is a hole for a guage. I was thinking of getting a 32 Degrees 5000psi guage and it said it is made to fit a 1/8" NPT port. Is that the right kind of guage? And do you think a 5000psi guage is too high? Thanks in advance.

A 5000 psi. gauge is a bit too high, considering that even high pressure tanks are around 700-800 psi. output.

Ok thanks for that part, but I'm still wondering is that the right kind of thread?

1/8 npt is the standard fitting/guage thread size for paintball

If your tank has 800 PSI output I would try to find at least one 200 PSI higher than the output.

I'm curious as to why you want to gauge the output of a preset tank? It will always read within 100 psi or so of the tank output. It's pretty much useless, unless you just think it looks cool. I'd just plug the hole.

Well if it comes with a hole, rather than keep it plugged I'll just buy a $10 guage to get rid of the ugly plug.

get either a 1000 psi gauge, or a 1500 psi gauge.
