I have a DM4 with stock bolt and LPR. do you think that I can get the LPR down to 2.45 turns useing slick honey? And what is the lowest ammount of turns that you can do with a stock dm4 bolt and lpr?

i belive that you COULD, yes. use some slick honey and clean and relube your gun. then reset your regs. by raising your hyper a bit you can lower your lpr a bit. but also by doing this you will have to lower your dwell also, just a tad.

I had a convo with someone from LA Exoudus last night and we were talking about how to set up one of his protos. By doing what i said in this thread he got his lpr from 3 full turns out do 1.25 turns out. He was soo happy. was going to post parts of the convo but i forgot and turned off my computer. Just goes to show that it really works. If your running your lpr at anything above 2 i sugest doing this thread.

My DM4 is working with the LPR at 2.75 Dwell 17, zero shoot down. The way I tested shot down was to put a full hopper of paint on my marker, set up my S.I.T.H to NXL mode uncapped and let her rip.But I tunned my marker a bit diffrently then what you wrote.

1) Lube/inspect everything hyper 2 with Dow33, LPR with slick honey
2) Set the Hyper 2 so that it didnt send any air into the marker
3) Started to unscrew the Hyper 2 untill the leak out of the back of the bolt stoped
4) Set the LPR to 2.75 turns out
5) Started to shoot over the chrono and I was shooting untill I was around 280-ish
6) Turned on uncaped NXL mode went outside, stood at a elevated place and shoot a hopper of paint to see if I had shootdown.
When I was setting up everything I had velocity spikes that I write that up to the reg's being broken in again after they have been lubed up again with fresh lube. But at the end of my setting up process I my FPS was +-3.
So now I have:
Dwell: 17 (I might pick this up to 18)
LPR: 2.75 (just under 3)
Velocity: 280 +-3

quick noob question? When you say "***You might have to adjust your lpr as your are adjusting your dwell to get your gun to work correctly. ***" is you LPR going to be going up or down as you increase your dwell?
