Eclipse??????????

The new kid on the block.

26th July 2002

Mark this day down in your calender.

Why????????

This is the day I saw the Planet Eclipse electronic frame for a cocker.

It looked awesome.

I'm not a tech so there's no point asking me any tech questions. Sorry.

I just got to see it fire.

jcc you already have doubts,if you dont get the race now you know that when planet eclipse sets out to top something they usually accomplish it,so you wont be racing it if you dont do it soon,by the way those are some beautiful cockers you have,

Oh I'm getting a RACE simply because I want to use it while playing IAO. If I wasn't needing it for IAO I would wait till IAO and check out the Eclipse electro grip. I need a paint throwing machine for IAO though so RACE it is.

i just wish people would stop coming up with new ideals so it wouldnt be so difficult to choose,

well checking all the grips out i did come to one conclusion you really need the eye unless you are ok with 10 bps,

so wright now it looks like the only ones you get the eye with is the sandridge or the race,

and the price with the eye for race you are getting close to the fastest the sandridge,

and i still havent convinced myself an e cocker can be as reliable as the angel,it just keeps on running ad running with no problems the angel that is,

Well I have had both an Angel and now a E-cocker (well in a few days) I have used my freinds RACE on many occasions though. Yes it is true that Angels just keep going and going with no problems. A cocker also goes on with out problems for just as long except when people are constantly changing them. His RACE that I would say is about 5 months old now has never gone down. Also the RACE shoots faster streams then any gun I have ever shot. It may not put out as high ROF in burst, but it will empty a hopper faster then any gun I have ever shot. Plus his RACE never chops and Angels well they chop if you don't set the ROF low. His RACE doesn't have the ACE and is set at 13 which it does easily (Turborev board and Vortex Impellar) and with a Halo-B that could easily be raised up even with out the ACE. We both plan on getting aces at IAO though. The e-cockers just seem to shoot so much better for some reason, and I personaly find them so much easier to shoot strings of paint with. With the advantage of no chops only pinches if anything.

I'm going to install the RACE myself and have the ACE put in by PRO. He only has to adjust it when he makes changes to the gun. Like when he put in a DEZ bolt he lowerd is open time cause the gun cycled faster because of the lower weight. Once its set you don't have to adjust it, but if you make a improvement to your gun and want to increase speed you have to adjust it.

The eBlade WILL be at the IOA.

Jack Wood is planning to use his during the X-ball tourney.

Planet also have a booth, so there will be some to play with no doubt. You will also get to meet the two people responible for designing them. Jack and 7lash.

Yes I am talking about the Eclipse e grip. 'eBlade' is the working title at the moment.

Not to sure whether or not it will be at the next NPPL.

There aren't too many of them about just yet, (3 at last count) but you never know.

After reading through all the posts I can tell you that the 'eBlade' will have an eye as standard.

Hope that helps.

p.s. By the way I have one of these
