Ok, I own a stock blue Diablo Mongoose, and this is how you take it apart, and clean it. I'm not a master tech, so you don't have to worry about how this is. Just make sure you have all of the following tools:
~Philips head screw driver
~A 2.5 (metric) Allen wrench
~A 1/8 Allen wrench
~7/16 wrench
~Lube (I will show you a cool way to save money)
Now, before we start, let me say this, I have stripped the screws on my drop. This happened because the Allen wrenches did not fit perfect, so don't make that mistake! That is the only part I won't be able to show you how to take off, but that is easy. Sorry if my pics are bad, I edited with paint, but I did my best!

Disassembly:
Ok, the first thing you need to do is make sure that you gun is NOT aired up. So take your tank off. Also, go ahead and take your barrel off of your gun, just to save some time.
What your marker should look like
Now, pull the bolt straight up, and out. Do not pull very hard, you might break the bolt pin. I have done it before, and there is a small "BB" in there, so if you lose it, you are screwed.
The bolt is out!
Let’s start with the ASA (Air Source Adapter). This is the only time you need to use the 2.5 Allen wrench. Just unscrew the 2 black bolts on the bottom of the asa, and let it dangle. I am not familiar with the microline, so I just leave it on there.
Here are the screws.
Dangle, dangle…
Next, just unscrew the Gas Threw Grip. It is very simple; just unscrew it to the left until it comes out. Don't worry, it is one big piece. Now, the bottom parts of your gun are off.
What your marker should look like now…
Now, let’s take off the trigger frame. Use the 1/8 Allen wrench to unscrew the 2 bolts. Then just pull the frame off, that simple.
The grip frame screws…
It was 1, but now it is 2…
Ok, here is the hardest part, but it is not hard at all. It is time to remove the internals. Go to the back of the gun, and pull out the pin that is next to the velocity adjuster.
PUSH DOWN ON THE VELOCITY AJUSTER!. There is a spring pushing it, and if you don't hold it down, all your stuff will fly out and may hurt you. [color=never touch the other screw That is the valve and is only to be touched it REALLY necessary#33]
Here is a guild on what to do…
This is what you look like inside…
Now all that is left is the vertical ASA. This is almost just like the velocity adjuster. All you have to do is use the 1/8 Allen wrench, and unscrew the one bolt that is closest to the vertical ASA. Keep pressure on it, it has a small spring behind it.
Here is the screw…
The rest of your insides…cool
To finish it up, let’s take off the ball dent and the feedneck. Use the 7/16 wrench to unscrew the ball dent. Just do it like you would any other bolt.
Take the screw driver and just unscrew the screws that hold down the feed neck.
Here are your targets.
That is it! Now, let’s get to clean the gun...
Nothing left.
My baby, in pieces!
Cleaning/Oiling:
Here I will tell you ways to clean your marker, while saving money! Ok, here is one of the best ways to save some money. Don’t buy the small DOW 33 lube. Instead, buy %100 synthetic automatic transmition fluid. My elder sources say that it is the same thing, the only difference is the fact that you get more, and the color. Other than that, it’s the same. Now, if it isn’t totally, then you will mess up your O-rings, so make sure that yours is pure!
This is what I use…
Oiling is simple, just oil EVERY o-ring that you can get to. This is why we take the gun apart first. Don’t over do it, only a small drop at MOST. Replace any damaged O-rings while you are at it. Use a flat head (My mom is a hygienist so I get the hook things) to pry them off. Use a paper towel to wipe off any paint that got under things the ASA’s, the feed neck, the drop, ext… Once you have done that, just put the gun back together. It is that simple!
If I didn’t say to do it in here, you don’t HAVE to do it! So keep your gun clean, and play safe! If you have any questions AT ALL regarding the Mongoose cleaning process, ask me… any other questions wickd can answer. He is the goose god. I’m now going to go and learn more paintball stuff!
