i don't know how this worked out in the other events, but in event #2, we signed up to play yg teams, and ended up playing majoritavely d2 teams. we didn't sign up to play d2 teams, we signed up to play yg teams. alot of the d2 teams were maxxin out every game because of playing yg. so in the future, i think it would be better if you have teams play their own division.

I hear what you're saying, but look at this way, if you do move up to play NPPL, as this series is being geared to be a NPPL feeder series, you're MUST play teams in higher divisions.

From what I recall about that event, there simply were not enuff teams in your division. Besides, all the YG teams played D2 teams, so it wasn't like you were singled out.

Paintballer476 plays in the PSP
Paintballer476 owns a Planet Eclipse Ego
Paintballer476 plays in the APPA D3 division
In the latest event all D2 5man teams had to play 2 d1 teams. This really lowered the cut. we went 4 and 4 in prelims and still made the cut.(which honastly surprises me alot)

there were like 16 teams in our devision, just they all signed up in the last week. so that shouldn't be used as an excuse.

Actually you didn't sign up to play against Young Guns teams. You signed up to play AS a Young Guns team. In many events you will play one division up or down. It happens alot actually. The thing to remember is that ALL the other YG teams had to play the same number of DII teams as you did. Although you play against teams outside your division your scores are only compared to those in your division. it works.

it's a chance to up your skillz and see what the next division is like so you'll be ready next year....or whenever your team decides to take the plunge and play DIII or II or even D I !!!

good luck!
