Refs

look .. everyone who was yelling at the refs should chill out for a sec and think about it from there perspectives ... they were busting their ***** all day in the extreme heat and did not get 30 minutes inbetween games to rest .. they did their best to make fair calls while being shot at , yelled at from the side lines, and even yelled at from the players. and hey if you guys didnt cheat then we wouldnt need the refs in the first place. just my 2 cents

Thanks man. I was a ref on the Xball field, didn't leave the field for more than a total of 5 minutes from 7:15 am till 9 pm. We definately did our best.

i think that the only refs that should be actualy refing are NPPL certified ref to make every thing fair

I thought the reffing was good. It was hot, everyone was hot, and I didn't see any reall horrible calls. Good job refs!

On another note, I think GPL, Cyndi, Brian, and GDP where awsome with the updates to keep drinking, the free water, popsicles, bannanas, and EMTs on hand. You guys took the heat really seriously, andd that was awsome.

Also, a special shout goes to the chrono ref that was at the green field. He was really funny, really nice, did his job, and before one of the games I was feeling sick, and when I mentioned it to my teamates, he gave me HIS water and asked me if I wanted some of his fruit. Really cool guy, thanks dude.

With so many calls to make, there will ALWAYS be bad/missed calls. This is a fast moving sport and that's just the way it is. I could nitpick a halfdozen calls, but out of a hundred or so that are made during the course of a day for any given team, that's not too bad. And remember, judgement calls go both ways. Sometimes they go for you too.

For me an inexcusable call would be one that involved just plain getting a rule wrong, and I didn't see any of that during my games.

I would say good reffin overall. I had a call that was not right, but if you don't get at least 1 of those ina tourney, something is amiss.

I do like the fact taht curing was not allowed. One of my guys got pulled for it, and it cost us the game that could have gotten us into the finals, but it is the right thing to do. We need less MF and F U and F That in this sport, in order for it to go mainstream.
