for any that read the thread in PBdojo about the sonic LPR leak, here is the response from MACDEV

I'm sorry that it has taken so long to get back to you. It sounds like your
piston o-ring is twisted. If you unscrew the adjustment cap (be careful not
to lose the spring) and remove the spring and piston, you should be able to
ensure that the o-ring is straight by running your finger around the o-ring.
Clean the lube off everything and re-lube the piston with silicon grease
before replacing in the reg. This should fix your problem, let me know if it
doesn't.
