why not just cut a little notch in the clips so you can slide different straps in with out cutting them?

u can attach other straps on without cutting the stock one but if you are double strapping with two new straps you would probably want to remove stock one.

ok ok i dont know what your are talking about with getting two straps and shoving them in, how would you shove anything into the clip there are no slits or anything. i would cut the corner of the clip so i could still put the zip ties on it and also put a new strap on it, you know.

You shove the second strap into the same slot (the only slot) on the clip. Personally, I wouldn't cut the clip. With the normal clip, you can put the straps in and take them out with limited effort. Cutting it runs the possibility of breaking/bending the clip by putting too much strain on it.

I'd like to add, if you plan to leave the rubber edge, you can take low grit sandpaper and sand it back once you make the cuts. This will make it come out looking a LOT cleaner. Especially around the really curvy parts.

Question Painting your Profiler question?

Hey I wanted to paint my Profiler. Is there any specific paint that will work on the plastic and the rubber and not flake off? By the way nice Mods on the ear pieces.

You must be confused...

You don't have to modify the straps to put them in the clips. Spectra style straps are made to be 'pushed' in, not to be slid over a post.

Buy some new clips because that looks like its going to be pretty unsafe. If one of the clips would end up cracking during play somehow, your mask is gonna fall right off of your face.

Also, attaching the ears straight to the Profiler face portion is not gonna be very comfy. You want the ears to be snug to your head. Doing it your way is gonna leave a huge gap.

Thats just my 2 cents, though. Do what you want.

so if you take off the stock profiler strap and its just the clip, pushing a jt strap through it and leaving it as a single strap will be safe? like it wont come out of the slit?

because i am not puting soft ears just a new strap and outside strap mod, so will it be safe to just slide one strap through?
