a good way to get in between the crack/crevice that separates the rubber from the plastic is to take a flat head screwdriver and scrap it back and forth since the paint doesnt bond to the rubber. it just comes out of the crevice. but will stay stuck the the plastic. just be careful like always.

EDIT: it will give it the more "clean" or "factory" painted look

I've actually been asked to order in a Amber lense for the JT full coverage mask and will actually be ordering in two of each both mask and lense just so I can do a hadn painted Halo 3 version.. I think that'll look rather stunning.. I usually personally do army camouflage patterns on peoples masks, don't get me wrong they turn out looking absolutely stunning, but I believe it's time for masks to look like something absolutely different.. The sport is progressing why not paintjobs?.

Yeah, just give it a light sanding but you can expect it to be shot off eventually

Anyone in here know how to plasti-dip a mask? I'm referring to the dip not the spray. I looked through the mask forum and couldn't find anything. Help would be appreciated.

Here is my mask and hopper I just finished up. I was a little bored and the white on my mask was not doing me any favors in wood ball.

I used 2 coats of plastic primer, 3 coats of paint, 4 to 6 coats of matt sealer. So far its working pretty well. Unfortunately I can't find Krylon here in the UK but the combination of the plastic primer and the sealer seem to be working well. I printed out the design on sticker paper, placed it where I wanted it and used a razor blade to cut it out, and then sprayed with the contrasting color.

Let me know what you think.
Mask - black applied.

Hopper - white applied.

I've read that if you use krylon you should wait a few days to a week before use to allow the paint to properly adhere to the plastic.

Also if people are having problems with chips when getting shot try to use a clear sealer. It helped on mine as its a little tougher then the normal paint and if you apply a few layers to should help significantly.
