Half upped T1 vs Almost fully upped TES review

Just got a new T1 and wanted to share my experience to all the people wanting to convert their TES to a T1.

T1:
micro-rock
qev
PMI gas-thru (adjustable tank)
supafly bolt
everything is mostly stock.

TES:
ESP frame w/sweetspot trig& 25g trigger (might be lighter)
DH striker
modded valve/cupseal
supafly bolt
velocity adj.

I have the TES running lower psi than the T1 because i did a high flow mod to the valve, a long with a very light main spring, and a DH striker. The TES is running about 50psi lower than the T1 at the moment. The esp frame on the TES has a nicely setup trigger & switch, so i can walk a lot easier compared to the stock T1 trigger frame. When i shot the T1 at high rof i would get tons of kick, even more than my TES! It might have felt worse because of the stock microswitch being a bit hard. I'm guessing its in the 100g range. I could feel the barrel start moving up on me when firing on the T1 but on the TES i don't feel that at all. But both have enough kick to hurt my accuracy. The T1 was also harder to control at high rof because of the qev shooting air in my eyes .The T1 is about as loud as my TES, but its a different sound.

So in summary, the convertion from TES to T1 isn't worth it at all IMO. Maybe with a new trigger/switch and my T1 will be much better.

There has to be something wrong if you can't run your T1 lower than your TES. QEV's add kick, and have been proven to really not do much at all.

put on a mask, then tell me the air from the QEV bothers you, lol. Fully up your T1, then tell me your TES is better than your T1. And there is no way your TES should be running lower than you T1. You've got something set up wrong with your T1. What r your guns running at anyways?

this is like comparing apples to oranges.....

you cannot compare a spring assisted electro-pneumatic gun to a blowback....of course there are going to be differences, they are nowhere near the same....

i hardly call an esp frame an up on a TES, even if the switch is lighter. and like was said, you can't compare a blockback to a spring assisted EP. atleast comparing ions to shockers is comparing single tube spools to single tube spools

I think you mean blowback, but yes you are right...

Its been a long time since I have dealt with Draguns, but since I was once the resident guru and "bought it all", Ill give my opinion on the matter.

Dragun confused many people... upon initial glance at the TES and the T1, they look nearly identical. The avergage "noob" will not notice the difference between the LPR and LPC, nor the hose entering the back of the ram cap on a T1. So, naturally, the response is "Why is the TES so much cheaper than the The One, the look identical.

Here is why I would always preffer a electropneumatic marker over a blow back... its guarenteed to recock. Bottomline. With the TES and the "Flap" you are guarenteed to have it bust at the most inoprotune time. Sure, you can by a DH Striker, but them you have to switch the frame in most cases to match up the sear and striker. (Thats why he has an ESP Im sure.)

With a T1, you can simply get a TBoard, Tswitch, QEV, Delrin Ram, cut your spring, remove the body pin behind the valve, port your LPR, New Barrel (CP or UL I would reccomend), bolt, and Scenario Dreams bounce beam eye. (they work flawlessly).

Geeze, sometimes I feel like I should build another dragun just to show you all how its done...... again ;-)

Yeah, its R.I.P now. Parted her out and bought a Classic timmy, then built a timmy, then got a Karnivor, now the DM4... next, a Dark Timmy, or a Shocktech DM4
