Many HALO (A & B) Questions!

Ok, I have seen some talk and videos on here about the HALO and I am utterly amazed. I was thinking, and these questions came to mind :

1.) How much is the HALO A?
2.) How much is the HALO B?
3.) I read that the HALO B is way better than the A...why is this?
4.) Can a HALO A be upgraded to a HALO B? If so, at what cost?
5.) What colors do they come in?
6.) What kind of batteries do they (A and B both, if they are different) take, and how many?
7.) How many balls can a HALO hold?
8.) How is the reliability of the (A and B both, if they are different) hopper shells (like how tough are they compared to a 12v Revolution?)
9.) How are the weight-wise compared to a 12v Revolution? (HALO's appear, to me at least, to be pretty bulky)
10.) Are they worth the money?

Thanks a lot for helping me out

try this link:http://www.odysseypaintball.com

1.I've seen A's for around 90 bucks
2.I believe B's run around 130 or so bucks
3.The HALO A was the first iteration of the HALO line. All of the initial probllems of the original have been fixed in the HALO b. Thus makijng it the perfect loader for every application
4.HALO's can be upgraded from A to B for 30 dollars
5.Black, smoke, green, red, blue, and clear. I have heard some rumors that Tex, and the crew are working on some more awesome colors. I guess we will have to wait, and see.
6.Six double A batteries
7. one hundred seventy paintballs. preferably Evil!
8. I dove into a bunker in chicago. the feed neck broke off of my Angel with the loader taking no damage. they are quite durable
9.They do weigh more than a revolution. The weight is really quite negligible.
10. The HALO is worth every cent. and more. I'm luck to be on a team supported by Oddysey. But if I wasn't, i would gladly spend the money on a HALO. Imagine never having to worry about feeding again. The HALO does what it says.

What he said.

I am not on a team supported by Odyssey, but I have 2 Halo B's, and we have 4 Halo A's on our team, which are due to be upgraded any time now.

You cannot go wrong with Tex, Albert, Brian and Chris.

Good luck, and welcome to the club, in advance.

6 AA's?!?!?!?!?

That is just ridiculous. So is the $130.

Geez, and I thought the Revolution was way too heavy as it is...I couldn't imagine anything heavier.

No offense to the makers of the HALO or anything, because it sounds awesome, but $130 for a piece of plastic with a little chip in it? That's over-doing it. Sorry, but I'd just as soon stick to my Revolution, or maybe get a Richochet.

Thanks for the info though.

How much do you spend on 2 X 9V's for your revy?
Probably about the same as 6 X AA for a Halo.

As for the $130 pricetag, it is worth EVERY penny more than any other loader on the market costs.

Check out this video...

http://www.teamjoker.com/Movies/Revy-vs-HaloB.WMV

Just for clarity's sake, what marker were you planning to put this on? Your Freeflow? If so, then YOU don't NEED anything faster than a revy or a ricoshiite. If you upgrade to a good electro, you may want the consistent feed rate of the Halo.

But, whatever floats your boat dude. Personally, the 2 Halo B's which I own were worth EVERY penny spent. Especially considering I already owned 3 revy's at the time.

Nope, I'm selling my Freeflow for a cheaper marker...I am probably either going to get a Nasty or Rat Impulse, maybe a Bushy. Weight is also a concern for me; I like all of my equipment to be light because I'm kind of a small guy will certainly no over-abundance of muscle I just don't think the HALO offers the lightweightness that I am looking for.

It's 11 ounces heavier, but whatever. To each their own.

I really didn't notice a differance in weight. The Halo is balanced out so well that the weight is evenly distributed, not all in the back like the revies. Personally, I think it's the best upgrade I've put on my gun so far. I had warp and it fed really fast too, but the Halo is much better. I can finally walk on my gun and not have to worry about out shooting the hopper. To each is his own, but I HIGHLY suggest the Halo if you're planning on going with a fast electro.

Considering the weight of everything else you are carrying, the 11 ounces isn't even felt by the end of the first game.

But, like I said, to each their own. I will gladly haul that extra weight for the reliability of having a ball in the chamber no matter how fast I shoot.

You think a Revy is "way too heavy"?! About the only things below it in weight are a VL200 (you know, a standard plastic hopper), a 50 rnd box hopper, and a 10 rnd tube.

I mean it's heavy when the batteries are put into it. Maybe it's just the fact that all the weight is in the back so it just seems heavier...but I can definitely notice the weight on my gun...

I agree. My Halo has been very impressive so far.

If you're implying that cockers in general don't shoot fast or won't benefit from a HALO, then I'm going to have to disagree with you.

I was implying that the average person will not be able to outshoot a revy or a rico with a cocker. Some people will. Most won't.

I have had 3 cockers over the course of my playing career, and still own 2. One is set up with a Hinge, and it is very fast. But, I don't need a Halo on it.

The other is undergoing an electro conversion, and it is WAY fast. Definitely could use a Halo there. :p
