Tough question.

More often than not, its a chicken-and-egg situation. Stores and fields open around a scene, but scenes grow around good stores and fields!

Only in executing a risk will a reward truly be proven. First ask yourself these questions:

1. How long can I work with zero income?

2. How much can I invest?

3. Do I have the energy to work 80 hour weeks or can I find a partner to share the burden (and profit?)

4. Do I understand the basics of running a business?

5. Who would I be competing against?

6. What income expectations do I have for year 1, year 2, etc?

7. Am I responsible and customer oriented? Do I lose my temper under stress?

thats sort of what i been thinkin adventure beach has no advertisements in the main tourist areas on mb now if u stuck one not far off the main strip in mb or had advertisements down the strip. or heck even a place on the strip (i saw this in TN) u could prolly get decent business of just tourist with money wnating to try somtin new.

UH... hate to tell you but tourism is not really all that big on paintball, sorry...I just would'nt travel with my family and spend time on a field when I could see the sights I really wanted to see... I dunno...plantations, great resteraunts, historic sites on one hand, paintball on the other, and I have done paintball touringof Canada...sorry, wish I did more site seeing... I go for door number 1.

Your business should be local based, people in your community and who live there. Local businesses, give decent deals to large corps and factories, You want them coming back.

in Anderson, S.C. we need a good tournament-field and Ariball field. We only have one field and its not that good... ALot of people would come from greenville, Andseron, and Columbia and Northest Georgia to play in tourneys/scenarios.

You could make some good business up here. It it really busy alot, August through May or Early June. Thats like 9 or 10 of steady rec ballin on saturday and sundays, and if u had some ideas for week play or whatever, I bet you could do pretty good.

Paintball USA in Socastee does decent
Patriot Paintball in Conway is ok
Adventure Beach is actually in Tabor City, NC...but its a nice field...with a lot of money behind it...
Ground Zero Paintball in Lake View....one of the oldest fields in the state...has a steady crowd and such, but we're buying new fields...
Liberty Paintball in Florence...nice place, not a big crowd. Team Fracture plays out of here
PeeDee Paintball...decent place...
Duck n Dive....nice place....decent crowd...kool owner

Hit me up on AIM or something with questions

whats ur AIM sn?
For airball and a good tournament field or scenario(never had a tourney or scenario here), i would say it is more than it could be in some places. if ur gonna start a bairball field or a good field, with good staff and good prices, i think u would do good.
if youre gonna have tournaments here, or scenarios, that would probably get a good turnout, most likely. alot of people my age (around 13) play...

Are u looking to start a field or do you know what you would do?
PM me or something
