Except they weren't. The autococker predates the Rainmaker by at least 8 years.

Yep Autocockers were introduced in what 1990-1991. There was no such thing as a Electro-pneumatic marker at that time.

Its not the Marker that does the work.. Heck A marker is useless unless there is a good paintballer using it to mow faces like... Like Scott Q (good job in the tourney) and like i said its the paintballer who mows faces...

there were no shoebox shockers, but give me a shoebox shocker and I am sure I could have bunkered and done just as many run throughs.

Vikings are excellent markers, even by today's standards.

Well, first off, Vikings weren't being made 10 years ago. The first electronic guns were only just coming out. As for price, Vikings have dropped significantly. You can now get an unmilled Viking with SCM, an upgraded board, etc for about $350.
And we weren't up against good guns? What about the Matrix team shooting DM's? Or the Shocker team shooting new Shockers? Or the AKA team that was shooting fully upgraded Vikings (i.e. fully milled, Tadao, etc)? Should I continue?

Upgraded Rainmakers usually top out at about 18 or so. Plenty fast enough.

They win with a discontinued gun. *claps for BE* there many year old technology is lighyears ahead of the stuff they put out now. And not to mention, those probably have mods on them that arent out to the general public either.
That said, I have to give props to the team for winning with anything put out by BE.

Well then, you've just made it obvious that you've never been on a field where a Rainmaker has been shot.
They are rather infamous, you should know, as being the loudest paintball gun ever built. Off the break it probably would have sounded like the Battle of Kursk.
