Here are pics of an EGO breakbeam eye harness on an E2'd ANS GX-5 - you may have seen a mention of it in another thread. The EGO breakbeam system has worked just fine in the GX-5.
I don't know if this will help anyone with an Eblade reflective eye install since the eye location on the GX-5 is not the same as the Eblade reflective eye location - it is lower and more toward the rear of the marker - in the area of about .100" back and .100" down - I can provide the specific dimensions if needed.
What this will tell the Eblade owner is that in my experience, the EGO breakbeam harness has worked with the Eblade frame. You may have to redrill your marker to accept the new eye system. There may be a brave soul out there that may want to drill an opposing eye hole on their marker - in line with the reflective location and give that a shot...who knows, it may just work?
The ANS GX-5 is really well suited for this install - integrated eye covers(stock) with drilled hole locations - just add eyes and maybe do some dremel work to the backside of grips for a wire race and cut the eye covers to just above the Eblade grips. The GX-5 also worked well with the reflective eye system despite being located in the same location as shown - lower and to the rear of the marker.
I also have a mQvalve installed, so that is why the solenoid is missing. It made for an easier install without the solenoid and you should be able to snake the eye to the ram side of the marker with the solenoid in place - there seems to be a gap between some of the frame structure and the circuit board for the wires to pass.
