timmy or angel?

Not taking the price into effect, which gun would you have for tournament play? I currently have a bushcrapper, and need something dependable. One of my teamates has a timmy, the other has a 2001 angel lcd, so which would you rather have? which has the best upgrades? which is best stock? thanks

They are both very nice guns considering price is no factor. Sure a lot more parts are out for the Angel but the Timmy came in out in,i think, october 00, and some new parts are out. Bob is working hard. the LP chamber can be hollowed out a little and be better then the normal lp mod with just a secondary reg. there is also a new bolt and feed assit i think. plus a new trigger mod by vern. the only thing is that the timmy has an anti chop eye.

I have two friends with both guns... one, a red '01 adrenaline angel and another with a brand new red-fade timmy... I've used both of those guns in both speedball and woods ball... My opinion is that the Angel is such a sweet gun - like the Ferrari of markers... truly, I was highly impressed... but for $2000, I have more urgent needs to spend my money on... If I did have the cash to burn, that would be my first choice...

I was in awe of the Timmy after my first game with it... the thing is a cannon! I actually got my friend to spend on the Timmy when he was considering buying a '01 STO 'Cocker... It has very nice features like the ACE and I put a lot of trust in Bob Long guns... The Timmy is the gun I am looking to purchase in the fall... I am still gonna have Adrenaline Angel dreams but at least I'll be able to hang with 'em... Also, $650 is more of a realistic price for me to spend on an electro than the AA...

Its most likely as simple as that.
You get a super low price of 630 now.
ACE.
Bob Long tech support.
Trigger mod and lp mod improve it tremendously and lp is only $$ you gotta spend.
Doesn't cost more for colors.
It is very fast with the trigger mod as vern will say and with the semi only board.

Jacob just buy a Timmy Angels are absolutely not worth the money when you could have just as good a gun if not better for less than half the price. Plus everyone at the tourneys has Angels, youd just be another Angel drone. You should see me wail on this thing since i did the trigger mod.

I assume you dont just mean Intimidators im assuming you mean any gun that is capable of being switched to full auto in the middle of the game. I plan on getting the semi only board in the very near future as soon as i get the money.

Funny you should mention that, because you wont be able to use your chaos chip either. Hope to heck you didnt get chaos eyes with your gun because they dont work with the stock chip, and I assume when ICD puts out a semi only board, the eyes probably wont be compatible. And an angel would need a semi only board as well, so I dont think that should be taken into consideration

angels can just use euro mode from the datalink or have an angel tech do it, so no new board is needed

Vern1 helped look for balloons
Greetings,
The whole issue of Semi Only started when someone "fixed" an Angel board to show semi on the display when it was actually shooting turbo or reactive or something else.
The NPPL has stated Semi Only OEM board.
Simply put, if you have an Angel, you need an Angel SOB.
If you have a Timi, you need a Timi SOB.

You must be nuts i love the way the Intimidators look. Their fade anodizing has got to be the best stock paint job of any gun. I hate the way Angels look becuz they have nothing moving on the outside. I cant stand not being able to see the bolt moving. The Timmy is without a doubt the best looking paintball gun on the market.

ive owned both so dont flame me i have expierence. they are both really really good guns. both have insane rates of fire and rarely if ever chop. but what it comes to is this. money. if it is no issue get an angel and AIR and all that. if not the timmy is a VERY close second. i would take either in a heartbeat but my money is still on angel. you just have to play with one for a while and you'll understand...............
