New Information
We at Powerlyte would like to thank all of you for your support and continued interest in our products. Due to cetain legalities we have not been able to share any information with our customers regarding the Isis.
We are in fact still very restricted to the information that we can release.
At this time we can say that we will not be manufacturing the Isis design ourselves. However, the design itself has not been shelved nor has it been released in any current marker.
We appreciate all of your support and hope to see some of you at the Miami NPPL.

Thanks Matt for coming in here and making a post even it is pretty much a downer.
Matt what the most important update all of us need is if it will be released at all with another company? and will we know that it 'was' the isis?

I woudln't put it past NPS or pmi/evil buying up the design so they can try to compete in the spool valve market

From what I understand, Powerlyte is still a company, and will still be producing things. Paul even told me they'd still be selling the Isis (with Powerlyte logo and all). Depending on what company bought the idea up (and I'm 75% I know who), its an odd deal. Its wierd that Powerlyte wont be making the Isis, but they will still be selling the Isis, and it'll have the Powerlyte logo...maybe things have changed since I last talked to Paul.

Damn Smarts Parts, they just had to start bringing the corporate legal stuff into paintball. I have a feeling it's either National or Smarts Parts. I really hope it's not Bob Long.

i doubt its bob long, he just released the d2, and has pleanty of timmyies to concentrate on. i doubt its smart parts, they already have there hands full with shockers and ions. i doubt icd, they have the freestlye, and now the promaster.
soo..... this leaves us with few possible canidates.
dye- who knows they do own the spool valve patent, and maybe were looking for something smaller, although i doubt it is them, it could be a possibility
pmi/evil- could be very realistic, evil forum has been begging for info on a new evil high end gun to rival the pimp, and pmi certainly has the funds and materials needed
kingman- spyders are selling as much as they used to with the release of the newer cheaper "high end" guns, maybe they are looking to revamp there line with a high end gun.
systemx/aci - please god no....... enough said.

There is a post in pbtalk where some guy was talking about a spool valve idea bought from Powerlyte by System X. Much as I would like to see evil take the reigns on the Isis. I fear it may be System X. I think the high end gun Evil has coming out next was supposed to be the Advent from OTB before they went broke. Last I heard PMI did buy out OTB.
Also did anyone pick up him saying
"We appreciate all of your support and hope to see some of you at the Miami NPPL."
Maybe Miami is when we will learn a little more about who bought what and did what with it why, when, and where. If ya know what I mean.
