best/cheapest place to buy filed netting?

me and my team are putting up an airball field and were trying to find the most affordable netting possibly. it wont take too much heavy use, just team practices and and some rec ball. there is also mostly an open filed around it. i just was trying to find the best i could get for the cheapest.

BTW we need 10'x300'

thanks
nick

i was already looking at paintballnetting.com (the economy netting) and was wondering if there was cheaper

EDIT: yes i know i spelled field wrong

paintballnetting.com is pretty good pricing
you will be hard presses to find a better deal through someone else without buying a field package deal through them

NPS has always been fair to me. They have a ton of it in the Illinois warehouse. See if you can drive down to NJ and pick up what you need. They also had bulk tanks cheaper than my local gas supplier, even with shipping.

I'd be surprised if they made white netting. Isn't most netting made by shade-netting manufacturers and just tested to be paintball-proof?

From what one of my landscaping friends told me, the netting they use for shade-netting is identical and probably a ton cheaper. I'm trying to find out who actually tests it to pass insurance regulations.

I know these guys make tan netting:

http://www.thenaturalhome.com/shadecloth.htm

I've contacted them about use in paintball but haven't received a call back. Typical. I'm looking for something cheaper myself that the insurance companies will approve of. According to my research, I can wholesale 12 foot netting for around $1.50 per linear foot. Most paintball manufacturers sell 300 foot rolls for way less, so it seems like I'd have to but a LOT of it to save money. From what I've heard, you can buy 30,000 linear feet of the 12 foot variety for around $0.75 per linear foot ($225 for 300' x 12'), but that's a $22,500 investment :-O

Oh, and http://www.usnetting.com/HTML/shade-cloth.html has white netting as well. Anyone know what the paintball equivalent is in shade netting by chance? 40%? 50%?

EDIT: thenaturalhome.com says 50% is paintball-worthy. I just found out that 60% will always pass the 350fps or whatever setting is used to test it for insurance purposes.

If you're desperate and are willing to be a little bit of a thief...A lot of parks, schools, ect. use them and put them on the outside of fences on tennis courts, my school does. All you need is a pair of wire cutters and a car.

I know I will probably be flamed for this but desperate times call for desperate meausres.

Stealing netting is a lot more expensive. Lawyer, fines, bail, loss of job, loss of girlfriend, gonnorhea from big bubba cell mate...

I think I'd rather buy it.

If you get that white netting, Rob, I want to see it.
