Ok everyone please weigh in on this one

Should I get the:

Total Freak with Stainless Steel/Green in 14in

OR

Warped's Dark Series Mid Players Kit with the 3 backs and 12in and 14in in green?

I am kinda leaning towards the freak just because of the added options in paint size matching, and I could buy a 10in and an 18in tip for playing up front and in back.

The dark set would fit nicely in my gearsack, but I don't think that really matters, I think the preformance and looks does.

What do you all think?

haven't shot the freak but the warped is beautiful. i have the front players and love it. shoots straight, pretty too.

by the way... the warped kit is made by cp. so if you don't have a dark or don't care about the cool logo, you could prolly pick up a cp one for less.

18" are you kidding me?

14" for a back guy is more then enough, 12" is sufficent, the length of a barrel past 12" is pretty useless and only good for sighting (if you sight down the barrel).

10-12" is perfect length for every aspect of the game. I shoot a 12" OTP the one time I used it it shot great, going to shoot it again this weekend.

The freak would be better because of all of the different bore sizes. However the freak inserts can be bent extremely easy. I've also heard that the freak is better than the dark as far as accuracy.

hmmmmm

it is giving me something to think about. Keep the thoughts comming. I plan to order one or the other after this weekend. Hey the CP website has all the pieces for 325 and you can even get them in 24k gold. That is kinda ridiculous i think.

Thanks

i don't know what cp site you were looking at... but here's a link
http://www.customproducts-az.com/kits.html

for $25 more than warped sportz, you get the 2 more backs...

but the 2 extra backs aren't ready for another month or 2...

my 2... smurf.

I heard that the Dark kit wasn't very good. I think the Freak would be better. How much does it cost to get the tip anno'ed?

I have to agree with every one else: go with the freak. I love mine it shoots great. Now if you could get one of the backs of the dark kits milled to accept freak inserts that would be cool........

Nuff said.

The length of the front doesn't matter, the ball only touches the insert.
