replace the reg

replace the voltage regulater with a 18 volt, presto its 18 volt. If your wondering what the reg is, its the black thing sticking up on the board.

Hmmm

Well, I bought regulater at a local eletronic's store. What I did was I took my whole board in and showed the guy what I needed. Ten minutes later I had a new one and was on my way home. What the difference is, It speeds up the motor, big time. I hadn't chopped a ball since I did it. and with using my 12volt before I was chopping every now and then. I won't lie and give some crazy numbers that I don't realy no, cuz I never timed it. I just no it makes the VL scream. Don't worry about the motor, VL uses the same motor in there 9 and 12 volt. Plus its used in the egg. So I would suggest doing the same. take you rboard in and say look, i want to change out this voltage regulater to one that will do 18 volts. I wouldn't take it to Radio Shack, they only sell and don't no $)-(!t. Go to a mom and pop place where they actually no about electronics. If I can find the part number for the reg, I will post it. OH ONE MORE THING, it drains your batteries quicker. HAve a goodone! and BECAREFULL!!!! THOSE ARE BALLS YOUR PLAYING WITH!!!!!
