03X or 03E? Maybe 02?

I need a new marker butI need some information from the wise. Which one is better between the two? If you were in my situation would you buy the 03X, 03E or the 02? I know the 02 is cheaper but I could afford any of these. For the price of the 03's would you buy the 02 and up, or would you get one of the 03's?

In terms in how they operate, they are very simular Pnuematic Air Ram system, (Electro-Pnuematic). O3x and O3e are lighter and have more of a Timmy feel (Body wise not performance). O3x has Top cocking bolt, O3e has a Rear cocking type of bolt but does not require cocking for either of the guns. The O2 has the same operation just htat it has more of a Spyder feel, and feels more durable for the body is made of aluminum.

Really the difference is that the O3x has a derlin bolt with top cocking, re-worked regulators, and I think a different ram, O3e is the economical version of the O3x (in my opinion) because it's basically the exact same thing except if you don't want to spend the extra money on the O3x and would rather use the money on upgrading your gun, then the O3e is good. Is not CO2 friendly, Nitro IS RECOMENDED.

Now if you like the spyder feel over the Timmy feel and want to have more money to put upgrades on your gun, then go for the O2. Performance is the same just less money spent, and is CO2 friendly but Nitro is recomended.

Now if you really want bang for your buck, get the Torid X really reliable blowback, best blowback in the market right now for it's price.

Hope this helps.
If my information is wrong, please correct me without flaming.

Get an Ion.

I was never impressed with the 03 markers.

If you plan on going Odyssey, then the Torid X is the only marker I trust from them.

Opteron has great info. I can say that I have owned an O3e since Christmas. Have had no problems at all. Shoots fast, is very compact, and very little noise or recoil. However, I must say that I am selling my O3. I just don't have the time for the game enough. (new baby) I will likely be buying a Torrid X just to have around. They seem very reliable and seem to shoot fast enough for me. IMO the O3 is a great marker. Expensive but great. Just depends on what you would like to do with it I suppose.

The O3e/O3X has a Humphrey's 3-way selenoid (like a T1) and very reliable (Timmy's use a Humphrey 4-way). The O2 has some wierd looking selenoid. Kind of looks like a sear tripping selenoid attached to a valve body. Anyway, I have a T1 and love it. I do like the O3X since it is smaller and lighter and has a shorter bolt throw resulting in less recoil. My 2 cents

The 03E's are great guns that are super reliable as long as you clean and lube regularly. I own 4 of them and as you can tell, I believe in their abilities. They have served me well and help me win several tourneys. They are easy to maintain and I'm yet to have any serious problems.

Ok the thing is right now the only marker I can tell you to get is an 02. Without adjustable dwell for the 03 it isn't very good. However there will be an 03 t-board out very soon. So I would say 03 and get t-board.

With the potential addition of the T board, the Odyssey forum has come to life. The board will most definatley add some value to the markers. For those of us out there who still own them, you may be holding on to a gem.
Burn 31...you can't go wrong with the Odyssey family. The Torid is a great deal for the price, the O2 is perhaps the best spyder clone out there...extremly reliable, but the O3 is your ticket when it comes to size and weight...slightly more in cost, but well worth it. Rex paintball, when they finally get up and running, will most likely be able to resolve our parts issue. Get one while you can.

I wouldn't go as far as say gem. I mean it is still a spring return bounce beam gun. I mean come on I love Odyssey but its been a while since they have been released and you can get a Promaster for the same price.

If you're at all interested in the O3X, I'd advise you to also consider its offspring, the Diablo Wrath. It has a lower profile, a more traditional reg setup, the O2's funky solenoid, and breakbeam eyes rather than reflective ones. Compared to the O3 and O3X it's a superior gun all around except perhaps for the stock software.

Hey NEED HELP ON NEW Odyssey RPM

I cost only $180 and has eyes. I know they are reflective but was wondering if this would be a cost effective gun. I know that Ions and Wraths are out but can't afford. Are these reliable or are they just all show?! Also can you put a torpedo reg on this gun for pic go to: Actionvillage.com and click on odyssey paintball guns ! Peace Out

Actually RPMs have breakbeam eyes you can put a torp reg but you need the shocktech mini cocker VA adapter and need to slightly grind it down.
