Greetings Omega,
Read the instructions, they are pretty easy to follow.
Unfortunately, I am located in Texas which is almost around the world from ya - J/K.
This set of instructions was developed after a few hours of discussions with Bob over the phone talking about the Semi-Only Board and how to cure trigger bounce and going full auto because of it.
We have been testing the boards for about two months now and giving feedback to him.
They were only released about a week and a half ago to the public.
I don't know about the warranty issue, but I will ask Bob when I talk to him this week and ask him to look over these instructions.

Well I wish I would have known you did stuff like this b4 i ordered my timmy so I coulda sent it to you from the place I got it. It was shipped from TX too. It's not that the directions arn't clear or anything it's just I don't wanna do something unrepearable unless i dish out $$$ to bob for a new board. BTW How much would it cost if I sent it to you and you did? I would feel much better if you did it since i guess you made the mod and have done it.

Vern1,

Could you describe exactly what this mod does, as far as trigger feel and performance is concerned.

Thanks a million!

Greetings,
It makes it shorter and enables you to shoot faster.
I have done quite a few Timis with the 1.4.3 board and all were pleased with the change.
It also has the benefit of stopping trigger bounce.
The trigger pull on the marker used in the photo shoot was measured with a dial micrometer at .016" pull at the bottom of the trigger - actually, it was probably a little less as I had to bring the probe in at about a 10 degree angle to clear the trigger guard.
With a little break in and fine tuning, it can get shorter.
When you adjust the trigger down short and close with the standard configuration, there is a point where the marker will go full auto due to trigger bounce and you almost can not shoot a single shot.
Trigger bounce is even worse with the 2.0.1B board due to the enhanced speed capabilities, so when you get it set close, it will almost invariably go into bounce induced full auto.
This is embarrassing when at a tourney and could get you removed from that tourney.
I was called twice at a recent tourney by refs who thought I was shooting turbo or full auto.
I simply handed the marker to them after the game and let them wail on it.
It shot flawlessly in semi mode for them and they were amazed with the speed of the marker.

Just when you think your trigger pull couldnt get any shorter here you guys come with this. Well i saw it and couldnt resist and i just got done doing this trigger mod. Its absolutely amazing. Its not a mouse click, but actually LESS than a mouse click, id say about half. I cant even see the bottom of the trigger move when i pull it. Anyone worried about messing their gun up dont worry about it. This was the first time i had ever done anything like this to my gun and it could not have been any easier to do. Thanks guys.

Question

I just did the trigger mod and it definately is awesome how short of a pull it needs to fire. However, although the pull is extremely short, it is still somewhat difficult to get a high rate of fire because it doesn't bounce back as well as I'd like it to. I didn't have any dow grease to put on the end of the screw so I was wondering if this may be the cause of the problem, or maybe I just don't have the other screws in the trigger screwed in the right amounts. About how far should the spring and middle screw be screwed in to obtain optimal performance?

Greetings,
I like mine to rebound quickly, too!
I turn the top screw on the trigger in a little to increse the spring pressure so it rebounds better.
It doesn't take much.
Hope this helps.

Ok, thanks. I still have some trouble firing it really fast but I haven't actually shot it with paint yet so maybe when I do it will be ok because of the kick from the gun.
