I just got a brand new Trinity regulator and when I went to screw it in, the threads don't even touch. What is up with this? I know it isn't my gun. I can't even air up my gun with it because it will shoot right out.
I'm not trying to test your intelligence, but are you sure that you are inserting it in far enough for the threads to engage? I wonder if the o-rings on the Trinity are hung up on the threads in the port.
That might be your problem.
Ya, you have to kinda force the trinity in.....the orings on it get caught on the threads sometimes. I found that oiling the threads up a bit helped.
If that's not the problem, then I would ask if your gun is new? If it isn't someone may have altered the treads to fit another reg before you owned it....

no, I am not an idiot because I put a shocktech on there and it is fine...its like the spool on the trinity is too small. It goes all the way in and touches the manifold without the threads even engaging. This is serious B.S. right here!
OK, did they modify your gun for that shocktech reg? I think that is the reason! Yo check it out, replace your Shocktech reg with the plug that came with the matrix. If that does not fit, you will need to see a machinist.
