Bushmaster Questions (LPR, Valve, Ram)

1. Is it normal to have the ram/bolt always cocked forward? With my Impulse the bolt can move around, but with my Defiant the bolt pushes forward and stays there.

2. Is it ok to put Do 33 on the ram and shaft?

3. In the LPR assembly there's a nut and a spring, which one goes into the gun first?

4. How do I get the valve out?

Thank you.

1.The cylinder assembly should be forward when ungassed. When there is gas it should cock back.
2. As long as there is not petroleum in it.
3. The spring goes in first then the brass cupseal goes ontop of that.
4. You will need to take the set screw out of the bottom of the main body. Then it will slide out the front of the main body.(LPR has to be removed.)
