Delrin ion bolt ????Possible????

I would like to get a delrin bolt for my ion because I hate messing around with lube. I've seen the Spud. bolt but unfortunately its a replica of the stock one. A heard a few people say that they didn't think it would work but they weren't sure. Does anyone know if its possible to use a delrin bolt in the ion?

You will still need to lube every o-ring as usual with a delrin bolt. And delrin supposedly doesn't work well in the Ion anyway. The spudnuk'l IMO is a complete waste of money. Like you said, it doesn't do anything that the stock doesn't, its just a softer material.

Its not quite that simple, but lets leave it at that. Delrin is not a very durable material to use for an Ion bolt.

Why? He will still have to lube his gun. That was his question. "I hate messing around with lube". So why would he spend 70 bucks on something he still has to lube that really won't give him any performance increase other than 20% more efficiency.

And if you tell me "well it lowers your pressure" I swear to god I will snap.

Oranges claim of "%40" effiencency increase is bull, I really need someone to explain how that would work. Its just a copy of the stock bolt, just in CF...I understand a minor weight difference, which might affect a small amount of effiency, I dont see how it would change that much ...

The second o-ring on the tail of the bolt effectively seals off teh dump chamber after firing, so it doesnt leak straight from your bottle to the barrel while the bolt is forward. Thats where the 20% comes from, but I highly doubt it will be that much.

I wonder though if the reduced weight of the orange bolt will give the Ion a smoother shooting feel, thats really what Im looking for, other than that, Im damn happy with my gun. 20% efficiency wouldnt hurt too.

My dislexia was kickin in, i didnt even see the part thet said hes already seen the spud bolt. lol

I dont see te point really, the orings are there for a reason and oiling/greasing doesnt take long nor do you have to do it that often.
